LAGOS WEST ANGLICAN DIOCESE HONOURS DR. FRANKLIN OKAMIGBO FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE AT ST. PETER’S OSHODI

The Diocese of Lagos West, Anglican Communion, has honoured Dr. Franklin Emenike Okamigbo with an award for “Faithful Service and Kingdom Impact” in recognition of his devotion and contributions to the work and ministry of St. Peter’s Church, Oshodi.

The honour was presented during a Sunday service at the church, located in Oshodi, Lagos, to the delight of clergy, members and well-wishers.

In his remarks, the Diocese commended Dr. Okamigbo, a PhD holder in Philosophy, for his consistent commitment to the growth of God’s work and for exemplifying Christ-like service in the parish.

Receiving the award, Dr. Okamigbo dedicated it to the memory of his late mother, whom he described as a pillar of faith and service.

“I dedicate this honour to my loving late mother for her great work and contribution to the service of her Maker. May her gentle soul continue to rest with the Lord,” he said.

He pledged to continue supporting the church’s mission and evangelical mandate.

“I promise to keep doing the good work that the church is doing, to make impact and answer the heavenly call,” Dr. Okamigbo added.
