Osun Election: APC Candidate Oyebamiji Votes, Confident of Victory

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, has cast his ballot in the ongoing governorship election, expressing confidence that he will emerge victorious.

Oyebamiji voted at Ward 09, Unit 011, in Ikire, Irewole Local Government Area, at about 10:42am on Saturday.

His arrival at the polling unit was met with cheers from a large crowd of voters waiting in line to cast their ballots.

Speaking with journalists after voting, the APC candidate said the election had been peaceful so far, based on reports reaching him from across the state.

“From the reports I have gotten so far, everywhere is peaceful, and we hope it will continue like this.

“I expect that I am going to have the victory at the end of the day,” he said.

Oyebamiji also described the voting process at his polling unit as peaceful, noting that INEC officials, security personnel and voters were present.

“The INEC officials, security agencies and voters are present, and everything is under control,” he added.
