NACCIMA, OPSN Mourn 32 NAF Crash Victims, Condole Tinubu, Bereaved Families
The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) and the Organised Private Sector of Nigeria (OPSN) have expressed deep sorrow over the death of 32 people in the Nigerian Air Force aircraft crash near Igbokoda, Ondo State.
The business groups, in a condolence statement issued on monday, described the crash as a painful national tragedy and extended their sympathies to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigerian Armed Forces and the families of the victims.
The National President of NACCIMA and Chairman of OPSN, Engr. Dr. Jani Ibrahim said the two organisations stood with the President and the Armed Forces at the difficult moment.
Ibrahim also expressed condolences to the bereaved families, the Chief of Air Staff and personnel of the Nigerian Air Force, as well as others affected by the tragedy.
He prayed that Almighty God would grant the victims’ families the strength and comfort to bear the loss while asking that the souls of those who died in the crash rest in peace.
NACCIMA and OPSN also commended the first responders and other personnel involved in the emergency response following the crash.
The organisations reaffirmed their solidarity with President Tinubu, the Armed Forces and Nigerians, describing the incident as a moment for the nation to unite in grief and support the affected families.
