Eid Maulud Celebration: MWUN PG Calls for Peace, Unity Across Nigeria

On the occasion of Eid Maulud, the President-General of the Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Francis Bunu Abi, extends warm greetings to Muslims in Nigeria and across the world. He urges all to continue following the footsteps and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him), especially his emphasis on love, peace, and unity.

Comrade Bunu calls on Nigerians, particularly as elections approach, to embrace the Prophet’s message of harmony and compassion. He condemns the violence, kidnappings, and forced marriages that have plagued parts of the country, stressing that such acts are crimes against humanity. He reminds citizens that regardless of tribe, tongue, or religion, we are one people before God and must live together in peace.

He further commends Nigerians for their resilience in the face of hardship, terrorism, and insecurity, expressing hope that brighter days of progress and abundance lie ahead.

Finally, Comrade Bunu wishes all Nigerians a joyous Eid Maulud, urging everyone to uphold the values of love, peace, and unity in their daily lives.
