ANLCA Lilypond Chapter Exco Visits CAC, DSS, NDLEA; Charts New Course for Operational Excellence

The executives of the Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Lilypond Export Chapter, led by Chairman Prince Hon. Olu Adefioye, paid courtesy visits to the Customs Area Controller (CAC) and sister security/regulatory agencies including the Department of State Security (DSS) and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

The visits were aimed at strengthening inter-agency synergy, fostering collaboration, and promoting mutual understanding to enhance legitimate trade facilitation and ease of doing business within the Command.

Upon return, Chairman Adefioye unveiled a series of reforms designed to boost efficiency, accountability, and professionalism:

He revealed the creation of three new operational departments: Task Force, Transport, and Revenue units established to streamline operations.

The Chairman stressed the need for regular interaction with security and regulatory agencies to build confidence and ensure smoother operations.

He assured of capacity building for members, dwelling on continuous training, orientation, and professional development to make the Command a benchmark of excellence.

On his core principles, Adefioye declared that discipline, integrity, punctuality, transparency, and dedication are non-negotiable values for members.

He emphasized official resumption time set at 10:00 am, with closing at 4:00 pm, reinforcing punctuality and professionalism. He encouraged members to embrace intelligence-driven operations, networking, and diligence for self-sustainability and success.

In his closing remarks, Adefioye inspired members with the mantra that when a member is prepared, discipled and strategically positioned, opportunity will naturally locate him. He expressed confidence that the Lilypond Command will evolve into a formidable hub of professionalism and a major contributor to Nigeria’s economic growth.
